| The RFID Reader Tunnel TCT
900 20 can identify goods on conveyors irrespective of position, size and
angle. A switched antenna field in the tunnel makes it possible to read
RFID tags on the conveyor in speeds up to 2 m/s. The opening in the tunnel
is 1000x1000 mm.
It is ideal to use in applications where the goods have different sizes and are placed in different ways, like baggage, parcel or mail handling. The tunnel can be modified to fit on most available conveyors. The tunnel consists of several RFID Antennas and Readers. A data concentrator scans the readers and translates the information. Tag codes are sent via RS 232 to the superior system. The housing is built in wood, glass fibre reinforced epoxy and ABS-plastic, ideal for industrial environments. Standard model features:
